Due to the difficult situation of the residents of Sderot and the Aza Settlements, SOS-Israel, in conjunction with other organizations, is launching a huge Purim campaign. Residents and school children of Sderot, expellees from Gush Katif, and IDF soldiers on the Southern front, will all receive lovely Mishloach Manos packages as a token of appreciation from the Jewish Nation for their self sacrifice.
The Mishloach Manos packages were purchased in Sderot so as to boost the financial situation of the local merchants. Chabad House personnel from Sderot and Nitzan and volunteers will distribute the gift packages.
At the same time, SOS-Israel and others have called upon thousands of students to send Mishloach Manos to students in Sderot, and Gush Katif expellees. This campaign is being carried out in conjunction with school principals, who feel that this is an extremely educational project.
