"A pity he didn't join the orange camp in 'real time"
Six months after former state president, Moshe Katsav, began to serve his sentence in prison, he first agreed to wear the orange prison uniform and was seen wearing it during the visit of his daughter. SOS –Israel responded with "I wish that Mr. Katsav, who was persecuted by the legal system, had joined the orange camp in' real time,' on the eve the cruel Gush Katif expulsion, and instead preached to listen to the court and said in Gush Katif," I trust in the court."
The public does not believe in two states
The idea of "Two States for Two Peoples" is bankrupt and does not receive wide support of both the Jewish and Arab public, according to Peace Index for April of the Israel Democracy Institute. According to the index, 58% of Jewish respondents and 61% of Arabs believe that there is no chance to end the conflict according to the formula of two states for two peoples.
Another amazing result is, that opposed to the past, peace is no longer the most important thing for Israelis.
Respondents were asked what they thought the most important thing to do now. In first place was the objective of reducing social gaps - economic (41%), followed by creating affordable housing solutions (16%), while achieving a peace agreement with Palestinians (15%) was third - in a huge gap from the main issue.
