Heads of the "Our Land of Israel" movement were questioned by police

The heads of the "Our Land of Israel" movement, Rabbi Shalom Dov Volpo and Baruch Marzel were questioned recently by police after the award ceremony organized for IDF soldiers waving signs against the uprooting of settlements.

As they came in for questioning, they said that they intend to file a criminal complaint against Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who, they claimed, makes political use of the IDF.

The Left has been wild for years

"I turn to the people of Israel through you," Rabbi Volpo said, "and tell you that according to the law, not just according to the Torah, one must refuse illegal orders. The command to expel Jews from Israel or destroy their property is an unlawful order, and must be refused."

"This is a political persecution, while the left has acted wildly for years and were never interrogated," added Marzel. "Amos Oz, Yossi Sarid and the extreme left were never questioned about preaching to refuse an order."

Marzel stressed, "We are here for questioning only because we are from the religious right; that′s what occupies people in the extreme left who took over the prosecution and judiciary – they are chasing us, but we do not flinch and we are not afraid"
