Rabbi Shalom Dov Volpo wonders why the Rabbis ran into the burnt Palestinian mosque carrying a Koran, but did not demonstrate when dozens of synagogues in Gush Katif, razed and burned by Palestinians * Barak argues that "the government is sovereign in Judea and Samaria", so how does the sovereign function as a puppet in the hands of a ruler of a foreign country, Barack Hussein Obama? * If the choice is between annulling the holy Torah which is in existence thousands of years or sovereignty that arose at this time – not one letter of the Torah should be annulled
Rabbi Sholom Dov Volpo, Chairman: Eretz Yisroel Shelanu Movement
We were told, a few days ago, that a delegation of Rabbis visited our cousins when their mosque was burned, and some of them even were carrying Qur'ans. Naturally I don't favor burning mosques, but I must ask those Rabbis, led by the Rabbi Yona Metzger Shlita: Why did not you show during the expulsion from Gush Katif, which destroyed and burned dozens of synagogues? When did you stand at Kever Yosef in Shchem, to protest destruction, and disgrace of that holy site? What are you doing today against the government construction freezes that are destroying Jewish communities in Israel? What are you planning to do to prevent the next deportation from Yesha?
This kowtowing behavior of rabbis joins the unfortunate declaration published in charedi newspapers from Rabbi Metzger, that "the Chief Rabbinate, as a state institution must recognize an official document of the State of Israel", even when it comes to army conversions that are absolutely worthless.
Get it? A mosque is worth more than synagogues, and an official document of the State of Israel "is worth more than the Shulchan Oruch. And why is a vigorous protest not sounded against this leadership, from one end of the world to the other? Where there is a desecration of Hashem's name, 'no respect is given to the Rabbi.'
Hashem the A-lmighty
Which brings us, of course, to the meeting of the heads of the Hesder yeshivos when at hand again is the same question: What determines the life of Jew –the Holy Law, as the words of Rabbi Eliezer Melamed Shlita, or politicians in the government, the opinion of some politically correct Rosh Yeshivas?
What does the defense minister say? "The government is sovereign in Yesha." I always thought to myself, when I sang "Kah Ribbon" (the Almighty is Sovereign), that G-d is sovereign. On the other hand, if the government is sovereign in Israel, how did Bibi become a puppet (bubbah) of Barack Hussein Obama? Are you" Lord "just to destroy the country and suppress and haunt those who love it?
One prominent activist wrote me the following by e-mail this week: "How is it possible to encourage Jewish soldiers to refuse orders? And what will become of the State of Israel, the beginning growth of our salvation?" In other words, this path of destruction of Israel, and dispossession of hundreds of thousands of Jews from their lands by the cruel hands of Jewish soldiers - on this hangs "the growth of our salvation".
And I, am a Jew- product of the darkest exile- whose redemption wasn't grown by Peres, Sharon, Olmert, Hirshson, Ramon, Katzav, Netanyahu and Barak. Therefore I will persist in proclaiming loud and clear: Jewish soldiers and policemen must resist illegal orders to expel Jews from their lands or destruction of Jewish homes in Eretz Yisroel."
May the government, the Knesset, the courts and all other "sovereigns" be annulled, and not one single letter of the Torah! |
